We are Laura & Karina Gomez, two persons that impossibly can live without color. Can you imagine this world without color?!?!? Imagine everything you can see in white, or black? Or even gray??? What a nightmare!!! I am so lucky to come from a Colorful Culture that I can share with everyone.
We are form Delicas, Chihuahua, Mexico and currently living in Chicago with five alley cats (Sometimes more, until we find parents for them). Besides our passion for Art and Animals, we share the love for nature and of course, we love to enjoy little things in life like the rain ( Rain makes me us SO happy!!! :D ), having cold beers in our pretty small patio or in the nearest neighborhood bar, watching old cartoons and baseball games !!!
We work for non profit organizations and in order to be able to help alley cats we need an extra income. My sis and I feed them, make little houses for them from plastic containers and neuter them so that they do not keep repruducing making the problem bigger by giving birth to more little angels that end up suffering in the streets. Chicago has a very extreme weather even for those fortunate enough to live in a weather protected home. So, we use our talent to keep up with the extra expenses that we have for the joy of helping the stray cats. Some of them stay, some of them leave, it does not matter, they know that they are always welcome and will always find food, water, love and friends in our little backyard :)
I hope this bio gives you an idea of who we are, two natural born artists and dreamers that can't live without ART nor COLOR...
Please feel free to check our colorful creations ( sometimes not very colorful, I have to acept the fact that neutral colors always go with everything ;)) and ask questions about us :) and thank you for taking the time for reading our profile :) ...
